JACK NIMERSHEIM
Author, Futurist, Computer Consultant
.....The Library.....
Truth to tell, this is my favorite place within Chez Nims. It is my imagination's play room, a repository for
the literary distillations that flow from whatever creative juices I may possess. I hope the contents of this room represent more than just a rampaging ego. (Although honesty forces me to confess that I probably possess one of these.) I've discovered through the years that readers truly desire access to a writer's work especially those works that, for a variety of reasons, might be difficult to find. It's a fact of life: Most serious writers produce more prose than the commercial marketplace can possibly absorb. A second, sad fact of life: Even those works which do make it into print usually disappear from the bookstore shelves before many people manage to procure them. And so, contained herein, you'll find information about and, in some cases, actual copies of a number of Nimersheim "minorpieces" that, for one reason or another, might interest you. (Hmmm. Maybe we are talking a rampaging ego, here, after all.)
People have asked, so I've acquiesced. I finally managed to pull together a semi-complete bibliography, covering my
books and science-fiction short stories. Click here to view this literary resume, so to speak.
For the truly masochistic out there, I've also included a complete Curriculum Vitae: books, stories, articles, essays,
columns, reviews -- the whole nine yards. Click here to view this (extremely long) listing of the complete Nimersheim
writings.

Ramblings & RuminationsMost writers can't seem to resist committing to print their private thoughts and personal observances. We assign to these incidents of raging self-indulgence the pretentious characterization, Essays. Well, bang the gavel, alert the bailiff, and recall the jury; I'm as guilty as my peers of this frequently facile felony. Presented into evidence: The following essay, which contains Ye Humble Author's ramblings and ruminations on a somewhat offbeat topic.
"That's Entertainment" A behind-the-scenes glimpse into the psyche of professional entertainers.
